We have low class size, all curriculum has a spiritual component, chapels, activities, clubs, performances, mission trips, opportunities for family engagement, and so much more. At the top of every successful organization is a group of wise and caring leaders committed to a vision. Although this group often works behind-the-scenes, the leadership it provides is essential to the success of the institution. Harmony Christian School has has been blessed by strong leadership. Since its establishment in 1980, HCS has been governed by a Board of Education, made up of Harmony Ministries Church members (parents) and school parents. From approving new faculty members and supervising the school’s finances to overseeing building projects and encouraging the administration, the BOE members govern the school and regularly makes important decisions that improve the overall quality of HCS. The BOE members meet once a month and along with an annual retreat to focus on vision and goals for the years to come. While the list of Board responsibilities is extensive, one of their important functions is prayer for the Harmony Christian School family. In addition to governing, this group regularly prays for the administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents of Harmony Christian School.
