The Administrator of Harmony Christian School is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school, ensuring a high-quality academic education is provided while actively integrating Christian values and beliefs into the curriculum and daily operations, fostering a strong spiritual environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Vision:
◦ Articulate and implement a clear Christian vision for the school, aligning with the school's mission and core values.
◦ Provide strategic leadership to cultivate a positive school culture rooted in
Christian principles.
◦ Guide the development and implementation of a comprehensive Christian
education curriculum, including Bible studies and chapel programs. 

• Academic Oversight:
◦ Monitor and evaluate the quality of instruction across all academic disciplines, ensuring alignment with state standards and Christian worldview.
◦ Oversee curriculum development and review processes, incorporating Christian perspectives into all subject areas.
◦ Collaborate with teachers to promote student learning and address academic concerns.
◦ Be knowledgeable of the NYS Board of Regents Requirements for Religious/Private Schools.

• Staff Management:
◦ Recruit, hire, and retain qualified Christian educators who are committed to the school's mission and values.
◦ Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff, emphasizing Christian teaching methodologies.
◦ Foster a positive and supportive work environment that aligns with Christian principles.
◦ Be willing and able to delegate tasks and clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes.
◦ Abide by principles of Matthew 18 and apply it’s principles in the work place for issues of conflict resolution.

• Student Development:
◦ Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment that promotes spiritual growth and character development.
◦ Address student disciplinary issues in a Christian manner, emphasizing restoration and accountability.
◦ Collaborate with parents to build strong partnerships and support student success.

• Community Engagement:
◦ Build strong relationships with parents, church leaders, and community members to promote the school's mission and values.
◦ Communicate effectively with stakeholders through regular updates and transparent reporting.
◦ Be a participant, and available, during yearly reviews with the Board of Education to set and review goals for the school year.
◦ Actively participate in fundraising activities to support school programs and initiatives.
◦ Be the face of the school in budget and leadership meetings in collaboration with Harmony Ministries.
◦ Work in harmony with the Board of Education and the Senior Pastor of Harmony Ministries while acknowledging that the Elder Board of Harmony Ministries has an overarching role within all areas of ministry (including the school) under the Harmony banner.
◦ Monitor the needs of the building and effectively communicate any issues that may arise for repair or improvement.

Qualifications:
• Posses a valid state teaching license or a Teaching Certificate from ACSI
• Posses or be able to obtain an Administrative Certification within two years of employment
• Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and a strong understanding of Christian doctrine
• Proven experience in school leadership roles, preferably within a Christian school setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Active church membership in a Bible believing church with faith principles and doctrine aligned with Harmony Ministries and Harmony Christian School

Salary: $62,500
